Therapy for teens and young adults

We offer your teen a safe and supportive space to explore emotions, navigate stress, build confidence, and develop healthier coping skills. Our clinicians understand the unique pressures young people face and guide them through challenges with care and encouragement.

How we work with families

Building trust with your teen while keeping you informed

At Reveye Mental Health & Wellness, we believe effective adolescent therapy involves building trust with your teen while helping you remain informed, engaged, and equipped to support your child’s progress.

We recognize that you want to understand what is happening in therapy, how your child is progressing, and how you can help without compromising the privacy your teen needs to feel safe opening up.

Family sessions

Where you come in

Our approach balances confidentiality with family collaboration. We invite you to participate in a family counseling session approximately every 3 to 4 sessions, when clinically appropriate.

These sessions provide an opportunity to:

  • Address relevant family dynamics
  • Improve communication
  • Discuss shared treatment goals
  • Ensure everyone understands the treatment process and the family’s role in supporting progress

They also create space to address concerns that may arise from individual sessions without unnecessarily disclosing what your teen has shared in private.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality and its limits

What stays private, what you’ll hear about, and when information may need to be shared.

  • We explain confidentiality and its limits from the beginning.

That includes the circumstances in which information may need to be shared for safety or other legal and ethical reasons.
  • You receive general updates.

These cover treatment goals, progress, and ways to reinforce therapeutic skills at home.
  • Your teen’s private details stay protected.

Personal details your teen shares privately remain protected within applicable legal and ethical boundaries.
  • We work together when more communication is needed.

When additional communication is needed, we work collaboratively with you and your teen whenever possible.

Our goal

“At Reveye, our goal is not to shut parents out or leave them wondering what is happening.”

It is to keep you meaningfully involved without making therapy feel like a report about your teen. By fostering trust, transparency, and collaboration, we help families build a supportive environment where adolescents can feel heard, parents can feel included, and treatment can lead to meaningful change.
